Bringing Your Bike

Japan is an ideal destination for bringing your own bike, with many hotels happy to store bike cases. In the case of the Samurai Collection, with meeting points at Osaka and Tokyo airports, our partner hotels are very helpful in this regard. Also, post-tour Japan's efficient postal service facilitates seamless transportation of bike cases nationwide.

Navigation

A key part of our ethos is facilitating your ability to ride at your own pace. Through a partnership with Ride with GPS and the provision of Garmin 1030 navigational units, we pride ourselves on finding you the road less travelled and enabling you to self-navigate. In addition, you will be supported by at least one tour van and cycle guide riding the route with you.

Tour Kit

Our kit sponsor is Cycology, who designed our bespoke Cycle Japan jersey that all riders receive. In addition, we will also provide you with ride nutrition, water bottles and Cycle Japan T-shirt.

Our Bike Fleet

We have access to a bike fleet that covers both regular and e-bike options. At the high end of the spectrum, we can provide the Cannondale Synapse bikes with disc brakes and Ultegra componentry. Our premium road e-bike option is the Specialized Creo SL Comp.

Our mid-range road bike offerings include the carbon Merida 4000 Scultura with rim brakes and some flat bar road and e-bike options.

We have bikes to fit a broad range of sizes but please note that we recommend you book early if you wish to rent a specific bike as availability in high season is limited.
